While driving through northern New Mexico, I spotted this
cowboy building his loop in an effort to rope a wild mustang. 
The fast moving horses were silhouetted against the setting
sun as a bolt of lightening suddenly shattered the summer
sky.  The hoof beats pound the chamissa-covered desert as
the cowboy's eyes are fixed on the prize just ahead.  it is a
classic confrontation as the cowboy challenges the freedom of
the mustang in "The Chase."
