The weather has always been an
integral part of the cowboys' way of life. While sometimes an inconvenience, the benefits
of rain far outweigh the temporary discomfort of a wet saddle. As these
cowboys accompany the mule-driven chuck wagon through the wet canyon a streak of light from the
setting sun assures them that another day's work is nearly done. As they saunter toward camp the
words of the trail boss remind them that the "Pay's the Same, Rain or Shine."
