As the American buffalo overgrazed the Midwest they began to migrate south in search of a more plentiful food supply.  When cowboys pushed their herds along the cattle trails to market, they were occasionally caught off guard by large roaming herds of these magnificent creatures.  To complicate the situation the approaching lightening storm has spooked all the animals and is mixing the two herds.  Foremost in the minds of these men is to separate their longhorns, calm them down and get them safely back on the trail to market.  Tonight as they gather around the chuckwagon for supper and discuss the harrowing events of the day, they will all agree "If it Weren't for Bad Luck".
